Process
The Solar dryer is the most sustainable form of drying as it uses only Solar irradiance and optimized climate control systems to evaporate moisture from feed material. It can handle various materials and moisture contents. With very flexible design options for sizing and automation, the system is completed as per the client’s requirements and restrictions. Solar Dryer not only reduces the volume of feed material like Sludge but also saves transportation costs and cuts CO2 emissions.
Incoming solar radiation is captured by the transparent building shell and used to evaporate the water (greenhouse effect).
The exchange of air between the inside and outside is optimized using speed-controlled wall fans
All system components are controlled via a central PLC equipped with ClimaControl software.
Working principle
Moving fans inside the building maintain an optimal air flow over the drying good.
The Electric Mole turns and tills the sewage sludge in an entirely automated process.
Different feeding and discharge methodologies can be adopted based on client’s requirements.
