Smart Solution for Organic Waste Processing

Bio-Tunnel System

An advanced biotunnel composting system that converts sludge and organic waste into high-quality fertilizer through controlled aerobic fermentation — fully automated, modular, and scalable to plant capacity.

How It Works

Process

The Bio-Tunnel system encloses organic material in a controlled tunnel environment where aerobic fermentation takes place under regulated conditions. Automated turning and forced aeration maintain optimal oxygen levels and temperature throughout the composting cycle, accelerating microbial breakdown and ensuring uniform conversion. The closed design controls odor and process variables, producing a stable, pathogen-reduced end product suitable for agricultural or land application use.

Controlled Aerobic Environment

Material is loaded into insulated tunnel chambers where temperature, humidity, and oxygen levels are monitored and maintained throughout the fermentation cycle.

Automated Turning

Mechanical turning equipment periodically redistributes material within the tunnel, ensuring homogeneous aeration, heat distribution, and consistent decomposition throughout the batch.

Working Principle

Biofilter & Odor Control

Exhaust air from the tunnel is passed through a biofilter before discharge, containing odor within the system boundary and meeting emission requirements.

Discharge & Maturation

Processed material exits the tunnel after the active fermentation phase and moves to a maturation stage, yielding a stable, nutrient-rich compost product.

Forced Aeration System

Air is actively pushed through the material bed via floor ducts, supplying oxygen to aerobic microorganisms and preventing anaerobic zones that cause odor.

This Is Why

We Should Use Multi Screw Press

Closed System Operation

Enclosed tunnel design fully contains odor and leachate suitable for installation within or adjacent to industrial premises.

Accelerated Decomposition

Controlled temperature and aeration dramatically reduce composting cycle time compared to open windrow methods.

Handles Diverse Feedstock

Processes municipal sludge, industrial biosolids, food waste, agricultural residue, and mixed organic streams without major process changes.

Modular & Scalable

Tunnel units are independent modules capacity is scaled by adding tunnels without redesigning the base system.

Continuous or Batch Mode

Tunnels can be operated in staggered batch sequences to achieve near-continuous output from a multi-tunnel installation.

Minimal Operator Intervention

Automated turning, aeration control, and monitoring reduce reliance on manual labor and ensure process consistency across cycles.
